First of all,
Well done everyone for "graduating" from the five days of intensive training.
It's been tough, but at least we've pulled through it together,
as a team. And I thought it was a good time of bonding as well.
Five more weeks to Regatta'10, and time's really running short.
Every single training is crucial and every single one of you is important in the team.
Believe in yourself, because we, everyone in the team, believes in you.
Let's train hard together, and make TP and our coaches proud.

Row, row, row your boat,
gently down the stream.
When you see a crocodile,
don't forget to scream.
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
HELLOW BEAUTIFUL LADIES!
As we all know, the 18th of September is drawing closer, and closer and closer.
Aren't we all excited little kids, seeing each other after so many mega long donkey years!
Well, well, well.
I hope we all have been taking really good care of our health and oh yes,
is anyone interested in some mass yoga workout?
It's the biggest Yoga event of the year.
It's known as YOGA by the sea.
It falls on the 23rd and 24th of October.
The mass workout falls on Saturday, 23rd October 2010 at 5.30pm, at Angsana Green East Coast Park
Registration fee is only at 5 bucks, and anyone who's interested, you can register at
www.yogabythesea.sg
Angsana Green is just ajacent to Carpark E2 which is situated next to East Coast Lagoon Food Village.
In other words, they're all side by side, with East Coast Lagoon Food Village at the extreme left, followed by Carpark E2 and then Angsana Green.
It's pretty interesting and cool to have everyone doing Yoga together, haha.
Maybe some of you are wondering why the heck am I putting so much emphasis on yoga.
Yoga is just simply the relaxation pill for everyone.
The effects are really good, and man, you'll feel flexible after a while.
But anyway, here's some really nice photos to reminisce about :)
Man. They say it's Eat, Pray, Love.
Heck that.
It's Eat, Paddle, Love.
WOOHOOS!
With many loves, hugs, kisses and sweaty hugs, HAHA,
Jackie!

Can't let the music stop,
can't let this feeling end.
HOLY COWS!
It's the end of exams, my fair ladies!
Doesn't that call for a celebration!
I'm not too sure about the seniors' schedule though,
but anyway, we all know that one is down, and we have one more coming up.
That's right, folks.
It's the ever amazing, brilliant, adrenaline-pumped and the biggest event ever-
Regatta!
Well, I have to admit I am kind of excited yet nervous about it.
Partly because it's just so damn close and OMGGGGGG,
It's REGATTA!
Haha! Y'all don't mind me being crazy yeah. :)
Meanwhile, we have a long month of holidays ahead.
This is the perfect time to get our bodies toned and bronzed to perfection.
What are you sitting there and waiting for man!
Get you and your shoes to the beach for a run!
Get our tan, a well, better full body tan, and what the heck, get wet in the waters!
The ever amazing Jackie will tell you what to do for the holidays:
1. Seriously, get your shades on and get out there to absorb the amazing vitamins from the sun. Hell it is awesome for your beautiful body!
But remember, please have protection on. :)
Y'all don't wanna be Rudolf the red nose reindeer, do you?
2. Run around MacRitchie Reservoir while breathing in Mother Nature!
It's always oh-so-good to get your blood pumpin' and goin'.
Stop hesitatin' man!
Call your mumbo-jumbo friends up and have the hell of a run together!
3. Go hiking, or best, camping!
Nothing beats having sunlight sprawled all over your face the first thing you wake up in the morning.
Waking up to a brand new day in a tent located just right beside the ocean- it's the most beautiful feeling ever.
The waves have a calming effect, and this can boost your spirits up.
When that happens, adrenaline will start running through your veins, and yes, you are so ready to sweat it out, nice and good!
4. Get your own yoga mat, or best, enroll for yoga classes, or even better, make up your own mini-yoga session at home!
Yoga helps in finding the right breathing technique for you, allowing your brain to receive more oxygen efficiently. As such, more oxygen can also be transported to your muscles and they can work better!
It is a great form of relaxation sport for you to ease down back into comfort, and at the same time, get your body right into top shape.
5. Last but not least, everyone needs encouragement while doing all these.
With a group of companions, the fun level is increased to mega extent.
If you can work out and have fun with everyone at the same time,
isn't it all so worth it? :)
And that's it for today!
Find no more excuses, babes.
It's time to get everything geared up.

{ 12:36 AM }
I look up to the sky,
and now the world is mine.
I've known it all my life,
I made it, I made it.
This is my first time blogging here, so pardon me if this post sounds really weird.
Exams are just really round the corner.
Thank you, Josmin, for sending us those sweet little texts, reminding us to work hard and train hard as the major tests draw near.
Let me guess- YOU GUYS MUST BE DARN STRESSED!
However, you guys shall not fear, because I have found some really nice information about stress-fighting food!
I've never eaten them just to check out if they really do relieve stress a little, but hey man, it's worth the check:
1. Papaya!
Believe it or not, this fruit has the MAGIC POWER to stop the flow of stress hormones everywhere in your body.
Wanna hear another dirty little secret?
These stress hormones are responsible for storing those fat calories.
For people who want to be slim, papaya's gotta be in your meal!
Other alternatives will be oranges, broccoli and red bell peppers!
2. OATMEAL!!!!
Ah, do not underestimate this at all!
It contains a hormone which has the effect of making you feel cool, calm and in control.
Wooh~ Sounds good huh?
3. Almond!
Get nuts with this, for it kills two birds with one stone!
Almonds can actually boost your memory, allowing you to regurgitate your econs notes at a much efficient rate, and also, what the heck, it contains a mind-calming effect which is a good stress-buster.
So what are you waiting for!
Get your nuts now!!
And that's all for today!
The most important thing is to eat well, sleep well, and be well.
Okay! Shall stop nagging. But hey guys,
It's the last 100m.
Sprint,
or not?
With lots of love, hugs and kisses,
Jackie.
