we started from...

this,
and now..
we have...

THIS.
We fought so hard and have come so far. Always remember what you have been fighting for. What pushes you to continue fighting.. Be it for your team, for yourself, for the coach.. anything that will keep the fire in you burning.
Dream, Believe, Become.Dream big enough, always believe that your dream can and will come true, your dream will definitely come true provided you train and believe in it. :)
Girls, we are
STRONG. Jiayou!

every single opponent out there,
heart burning for one similar goal.
its only how much you want it,
and how much you're willing to fight for it.
every stroke you execute, make sure you give in your 100%.
dont wait till the next training,
dont wait for anyone anymore.
every change is a breakthrough of your comfort zone.
you can ignore, or find excuses for yourself.
but for those who try,
these little breakthroughs will be your tiny steps towards your improvement.

in times of giving up,
remember the ones who are fighting hard along with you.
10 more weeks to Regatta'10

Some photos from the YOG opening ceremony hahaha. the view of the fireworks from the boats is srsly awesome (y)
anyway last photo was taken with NP (: awesome to have such photo taken with other school and this reminds us that dragonboat is not always about competiveness and stuff. yes we are competitors on the boat, in a race but up on shore, friendships can also be forged. (:

This is to the everyone in the team, and to the juniors in particular.
i know you guys wanna chiong and push yourself to the limits, but by injuring yourself is NOT the solution.
and when you are injured, you have a CHOICE to rest but yet you still push yourself, but what do you get in return? improvement? hell no. what you get is only injuries and more injuries. yet in the end you forgo yourself a chance to row. do you guys really want this? you're just doing yourself injustice.
when your injury is too much for you to bear you're just being a liability to the team cos your teammates have to constantly look out for you and worry for you, monitoring you to see whether you are taking care of yourself instead of trying to be a superwoman and be a wise-ass by doing things you are not suppose to do.
so please have the sense.
when you end up on the shore, then yknow how much that feeling sucks.
however, please do take note there is a difference between sharp pain and ache. identify the pain/ache.
